Floral Workshop Miami · Getting things ready

Our Floral Workshop Miami preparation has been run by our founder Adriana Castro in the last few days, to make sure everything is ready for this next Sunday, July 12th. The workshop will be hosted at Wynwoond Block, 2621 NW 2nd Ave, Miami.

For this Floral Workshop Miami , The Creative’s Loft makes sure that our vendors are on board since minute one. At this point, we went to one of our favorite flower vendors to buy all the essentials for our ladies. We bought those supplies that they will be using to cut fresh flowers while designing their crowns, as well as the tape, cable and additional details so that the event can become a success. We had a busy morning. The Creative’s Loft went to visit some vendors around the area a whole morning to proceed with the selection of the lowers for our Floral Workshop Miami.

Adriana, went inside the “flower room” to select with Anaís the specific flowers for the event and the floral crowns. She wants to offer a different variety of flowers so that her ladies can design their floral crowns based on their taste. Below, you can find our founder, taking some notes and going around the flower room, analyzing each of the flowers.

One of the most important things while organizing and designing a floral workshop is the selection of your flowers. You need to select strong and flexible flowers, with an appropriate size, as if they are too heavy is going to be harder to design the floral crown. For this occasion, Adriana has selected some carnation, mini roses, Italian Ruscus, hypericum, etc to be able to design beautiful floral crowns this Sunday. In addition, the foliage is essential to design floral crowns as we are going to use it like the base of the crown.

We had a lot of fun selecting and analyzing the best floral options for our event and we can’t wait to meet all our ladies this following Sunday in our Floral Workshop Miami. It’s going to be a unique experience, surrounded by beautiful flowers and people in a beautiful space.

Today we want to show you a very cute project we are working on for one of our events! We are busy and organizing different events in Miami with great official partners such as GlamSquad, NUXE US, Jucy Lu and Mister Block Café.

For this next Thursday, we have designed these cute THANK YOU cards for our guests! We love taking care of people and communicating how happy we are to have them whenever they attend our cute events! This time, the event is packed and GlamSquad Girls will be providing our ladies with make up and hair style sessions at Miami Beach. We will have some bubbles and sweet bites to make sure they like it even more!

Little by little we are growing and organizing more and more creative events in Miami! We feel proud of all those partners that are trusting and supporting us! That’s why we would like to send a huge THANK YOU, with these Thank You Cards project!

Dress for Success Miami

Y.E.S Dress For Success event at Lilt Lounge at Epic Hotel Miami was celebrated last week where important and key entrepreneur women of Miami attend to support this wonderful cause and have a great time while listening to a Live Jazz Concert and enjoying some delicious wines from France and Spain.

Dress For Success is a company that are on mission to promote the economic independence of disadvantaged women by providing professional attire, a network of support and the career of development tools to help women thrive in work and in life.

Adriana Castro, our founder, was representing The Creative’s Loft at the event while meeting interesting women in Miami, where the majority of them are friends and professionals of the Marketing and Start Up World. She felt proud of the mission of this organization and due to the fact that she is a young entrepreneur women, she found really important being supporting this cause in order to help women all around the world. These were part of her words during the event:

Haayen came up with Summer Soulstice as a way to grow the Magic City’s yoga community. “The farther you go outside of Miami, the better yoga gets,” she says. The idea, then, is to do something about that. “In New York they shut down Times Square during the summer solstice and have thousands of people doing yoga. It’s one of the city’s biggest yoga events. Their goal is to create the same massive event and instill that sense of community here.” And what better way than by doing so in a surreal and natural wondrous environment like Botanical Garden?

Last year was the first time they did it and they hosted it at the 1111 building parking garage, which was awesome and we had 800 on the rooftop, but it’s concrete. Summer solstice is all about nature and connecting with the summer again, and they wanted a location that inspired that. It’s lush heaven. And lush heaven has no limit as to how many it allows through its gates.

Last year’s summer solstice event at Times Square saw 11,000 yogis getting their asana on, and although Miami might not be anywhere near that, Haayen is doing all she can to make sure we are well on our way by putting together events like this and hosting her weekly OMWave Radio show, streaming live every Wednesday from 1 to 2 p.m. on Klangbox.fm, with friend and fellow yogi Amy Dannheim (You can take her hip hop flow class at Green Monkey on Fridays.)

Back to Summer Soulstice: not only is the one-hour yoga event absolutely free of charge and open to all-levels of yogis whether advanced or aspiring, Nacho Londono will follow it up with a guitar performance so you get yoga and a concert in one.
