Creative Studio in Miami

Creative Studio in Miami

I love dancing, I love singing, I love designing…but the thing that I like most is CREATING. That’s why I run a Creative Studio in Miami. All this adventure started when my life was not going the way I wanted to be and when I realized that my current job was not fulfilling me at all. At that moment, I sat down in my desktop, spent hours and hours shaping the project that I had started since 2012 in Spain.

Running a Creative Studio is a fun way of expressing how you are, what you love doing, how you see the world, what new things you want to provide to this society, etc. So that’s why, my project is soooo unique, because no one, and when I say no one, is because no one can create exactly the soul and spirit that I have created around this idea. I love being unique, during my trip I’ve found out that a lot of people follow me and I have became a “reference” for them. Even in a positive or a negative way, both sides they feed me to be day by day stronger and more positive and believe in the cool company I am building. I like being positive, generating professional opportunities in this city and encounter brilliant and excellent people. As every adventure, there are good and bad moments. These bad or negative moments and experiences, unconsciously are the ones that make you stronger and teach you how to shine brighter. Every single step you live or take in this life makes you a better person and professional, and specially shows you who you need to have around you and who needs to be far away from you. It’s not worth it, they are losing their lovely time, as no one is gonna put you down unless you allow them to do that.

So, after having these cool and bad experiences, little by little I realized that what I am creating with the help and professionalism of a lot of entrepreneurs and influencers, is something cool. A Creative Project where I welcome anyone that is ready to help, provide their own style and are open to put the s**** together. That’s how we like rocking the market, specially having fun and learning from each other. Another thing that I have learnt in the last months is that your project/idea/company is only going to be as good as you make it. Your project would always reflect the effort and uniqueness that you put into it, no matter what. Period.

Talking about the above creative video, it’s an idea I came up with while leaving the hospital with my fiance. In order to make him laugh I asked him to take me a couple of pics while I was turning and playing with my skirt. He is a “real photographer” (believe me…) he takes me great pictures and we do a great team! So, after analyzing them I thought…what about if we put them all together and we show to the world those creative ideas that we like doing? And this is the result. Some simple, but creative. Unique and we our own watermark. Something that maybe you do not find in other Miami blogs 😉

DIY Floral Workshop – Christine Michelle Photography

After the beautiful Sunday that we spent surrounded by our fabulous ladies during our DIY Floral Workshop at Wynwood Block, we have realized the amazing work that some bloggers have done! We are super happy with the result and the beautiful pictures that the majority of them took while they were having fun and designing their floral crowns!

This is the case of Christine Michelle Photography (have a look to her amazing work). We had the pleasure to invite Christine, a beautiful girl with an amazing eye…she captured 100% the essence of our DIY Floral Workshop with her camera and shared the love in her blog! We can’t thank her the beautiful job that she made and all the pictures she has shared with us! We are proud to present you her unique work and the memories we gathered that Sunday.

The Making Of

We started organizing the event 4hours before at our location. The people from Wynwood Block were very nice and they facilitated us everything so that we could make sure our work was going to be done in advance. Thanks to the curtesy of Mister Block Café and Jucy Lu, The Creative’s Loft was able to organize a unique and unforgettable event for local people, bloggers, family and friends.

Mister Block Café, helped us arranging all the furnitures and food we were offering to our attendees. They allowed us to use their amazing table in the aisle, so that we could locate all our flowers and supplies for the DIY Floral Workshop and offer a wonderful working place for all our guests. Thanks to their help we were able to organize and ran a beautiful workshop.

The Set Up, three different spots

During these hours, we arranged 3 different areas for the DIY Floral Workshop: The Sweet Station, The Beauty Spot and The Workshop Area. In order to offer a unique experience, we also partnered with GlamSquad, where two beautiful ladies provided with make up and hair style services. Our ladies loved this idea and they were making the line to look beautiful! Glamsquad made a great job designing beautiful braids and make up. Have a look!

The Floral Workshop

At 4.30pm, guests started to show up at Wynwood Block. Everything was set for them and we could wait to start working in the floral crowns. We divided our guests in two different groups as we were 55 people. The first 25 ladies, started working in their designs. First of all, Adriana and Francisco explained the steps they needed to follow in order to design and create their Floral Crowns. One of the most important things in this kind of workshops is the selection of the flowers for your Floral Crown.

They followed their instructions selecting the foliage, the decorative little flowers and the main flowers. After they cut all the flowers they needed, we started working with the green wire placing the flowers one by one, using floral tape (your best friend whenever you are designing your floral crown). Our ladies…made a wonderful and excellent job…meanwhile, they learnt different techniques, as the boutonniere, to be able to work with big flowers.

While some of the first ladies finished their crowns, the second group joined the table. Some of the Floral Crowns designed by the first group, served as an inspiration for the second group. Have a look to the unique designs!!! They made a great job and they looked amazing!

Floral Workshop Miami

Floral Workshop Miami · Getting things ready

Our Floral Workshop Miami preparation has been run by our founder Adriana Castro in the last few days, to make sure everything is ready for this next Sunday, July 12th. The workshop will be hosted at Wynwoond Block, 2621 NW 2nd Ave, Miami.

For this Floral Workshop Miami , The Creative’s Loft makes sure that our vendors are on board since minute one. At this point, we went to one of our favorite flower vendors to buy all the essentials for our ladies. We bought those supplies that they will be using to cut fresh flowers while designing their crowns, as well as the tape, cable and additional details so that the event can become a success. We had a busy morning. The Creative’s Loft went to visit some vendors around the area a whole morning to proceed with the selection of the lowers for our Floral Workshop Miami.

Adriana, went inside the “flower room” to select with Anaís the specific flowers for the event and the floral crowns. She wants to offer a different variety of flowers so that her ladies can design their floral crowns based on their taste. Below, you can find our founder, taking some notes and going around the flower room, analyzing each of the flowers.

One of the most important things while organizing and designing a floral workshop is the selection of your flowers. You need to select strong and flexible flowers, with an appropriate size, as if they are too heavy is going to be harder to design the floral crown. For this occasion, Adriana has selected some carnation, mini roses, Italian Ruscus, hypericum, etc to be able to design beautiful floral crowns this Sunday. In addition, the foliage is essential to design floral crowns as we are going to use it like the base of the crown.

We had a lot of fun selecting and analyzing the best floral options for our event and we can’t wait to meet all our ladies this following Sunday in our Floral Workshop MiamiIt’s going to be a unique experience, surrounded by beautiful flowers and people in a beautiful space.

Do not forget to come with millions of ideas for your design! Get inspired! If you did not buy your ticket, you are still on time! Go to our EVENTBRITE, and buy it!
